    The Series

Cities, told through the people and traditions that shape them.

Unscripted Cities is an editorial, TV-style travel series that goes beyond the landmarks. Jennifer enters a city through a compelling human or cultural question, experiences it firsthand, meets the people and institutions behind it, and discovers what that story reveals about the identity of the city.

Every episode runs about 26 minutes. A city may receive one episode or several, depending on the story it has to tell.

    i.

    Experience

Jennifer enters the story firsthand — walking the streets, joining the ritual, visiting the institution, or meeting the people who make the experience possible.

    ii.

    Inquiry

A simple observation becomes a larger question. Why does this exist here? What changed when it arrived? What has been preserved — and why?

    iii.

    Connection

Each story connects the immediate experience to the people, traditions, and institutions that reveal something larger about the city itself.

    Two-Episode Pilot · In Post-Production

    Season One begins in London

    The Host

    Jennifer Sabour

Jennifer Sabour is a travel host and cultural storyteller who approaches cities with the curiosity of a traveler and the questions of an investigator.

Her work begins with experiences people recognize — a museum, a tradition, a meal, a performance, a historic place — and follows them into the histories, communities, and institutions that give a city its identity.

Through interviews, on-location discovery, and editorial storytelling, Jennifer makes complex cultural stories accessible, personal, and visually engaging for broad audiences.

    Built Through Cultural Collaboration

Welcomed by the institutions that define cultural travel

Jennifer's on-camera work is made inside real institutions — around live operations, working collections, and the people who steward them. She arrives knowing how to work with a place, not simply in front of it.

    For Filming Partners & Locations

Partners as voices, not just locations.

Unscripted Cities works with cultural institutions, heritage sites, hospitality partners, artists, educators, and community organizations not simply as locations, but as voices within the story of a city.

The London episodes have been filmed, so the format now exists as a real production rather than a proposal. A small, host-led crew and an observational style capture the character of a place without disrupting its operations or its guests.

    Format & distribution

Unscripted Cities is designed as a host-led, 26-minute cultural travel format built around a repeatable editorial engine: Jennifer enters a city through an experience, follows a compelling question, meets the people and institutions behind it, and discovers what the story reveals about the city itself. Cities receive one or more episodes as their stories require.

Season One currently begins with two completed London episodes, followed by two New York concepts in development and a developing Northeast Corridor arc. The independently produced London episodes are intended to support conversations with public television, cultural broadcasters, educational streaming platforms, and aligned distribution partners.
